Island men who know every drop-off

Living and fishing on the island for a big part of his life. As soon as the big-game bug struck there was no turning back, and when life pushed him to become a charter captain, he started Bonaire Big Game Fishing. His passion for fishing, and for giving his guests the best possible experience, is what drives him. Beyond catching fish it’s about making memories and building long-lasting relationships.

Born and raised in Belgium, Vincent’s scuba-diving career first brought him to the Caribbean. After deciding to move to Bonaire and pursue a different path, he became second mate and, a few years later, first mate / second captain. His skill, determination and pure passion for fishing make him one of, if not the, best mates to have aboard. Speaks fluent French and English.

Born and raised on the island. After a few years on the sister island of Curaçao, where he owned and operated a fishing charter for several years. He decided it was time to come home. Back on Bonaire our paths crossed, and he now sails with us as second mate and 2nd captain. A seasoned, knowledgeable fisherman and diver.

A pelican. Nigel found us after his film career wrapped and took on the role of dockmaster. From his mooring post he watches over every departure, accepts payment in fish only, and has never once missed a shift. A true professional.
